What we do
Insta Beej sells seed for the vegetables Indian markets rarely carry: European brassicas, Asian greens, salad chicories, perennial crops such as asparagus and artichoke, and summer squash.
Most of these crops come from cool climates. In the plains they grow only in a narrow rabi window. In the hills they grow through the summer instead. A packet printed in Europe will not tell you this, so every listing here gives separate sowing months for the plains and the hills, along with germination, spacing and days to harvest.
What we sell
Our catalogue is 34 products across 5 categories:
- European Brassicas — Broccoli, Brussels sprouts and Romanesco for the cool rabi window in the plains. (6 products)
- Asian Greens — Pak choi, Chinese cabbage, mizuna and tatsoi — fast, tender and made for a wok. (7 products)
- Salad Chicories & Greens — Endive, radicchio, sorrel, chard and watercress for a salad bowl with some bite. (8 products)
- Stalk, Bulb & Perennial — Asparagus, leek, artichoke, rhubarb and celeriac — slow crops that repay patience. (8 products)
- Summer Squash & Specialty Roots — Zucchini, parsnip and salsify — the ones the sabzi mandi never stocks. (5 products)
Everything listed is supplied as seed for sowing and cultivation. Nothing on this website is sold as food, feed or a food ingredient, and nothing is processed for consumption.

How we price
The price shown on a product page is the final price of that product. Nothing is added to it at checkout except the shipping charge, which is stated before you pay. The price recorded at the moment of sale is the price printed on your invoice, so a later catalogue correction never rewrites a document already issued.
How we operate
- Orders are dispatched within 1-2 working days, with courier tracking on every consignment.
- Checkout itemises the product total and shipping before payment. The total shown is the total charged.
- Every paid order generates a numbered invoice automatically, available from your order page.
- Every payment is reconciled against exactly one order using the gateway transaction reference.
